Friendship
All Brand Club members will welcome new members, officials and visitors to our fencing rooms and to the sport of fencing. For example, we always try to accept an invitation from anyone who asks us to fence and always shake hands with our opponent before and after each bout. We avoid arguements about touches scored - the director's ruling is final.
Safety
All Brand Club members will place safety first through the maintenance, care and use of proper equipment. For example, we will always wear a mask when fencing or facing an opponent in practice.
Responsibility
All Brand Club members will treat each other and our fencing rooms with the highest degree of respect. We help other fencers by sharing our knowledge and experience. We give positive critiques and accept positive criticism. All Brand Club Fencers will remain in good standing with the Brand Club and with the United States Fencing Association throughout the fencing season. |
